Smoking is a dangerous habit established by the American people and transferred to Europe by Christopher Columbus. Also, Smoking has many dangerous and fatal effects on both individuals and societies. Cigarettes contain a lot of deadly elements (Nicotine, Arsenic, Methane and many other elements of tobacco) - most of them are used either to kill rats or used as fuel for rockets. I disagree with smoking because it has severe dangerous effects but, I will focus only on three main effects in the following paragraphs.

Despite the strong ties between the Middle Eastern families, many a time there has been fatal misunderstanding between parents and their children (teenage smokers) ,also among other dear relatives. The reason is that culturally smokers are not accepted in the society; therefore, the hatred that develops among family members is mainly due to smoking.
Economic effects, It has been found that the average smoker spends about one fourth of his monthly income on cigarettes. This means a great loss of money, and a negative impact on the family livelihood and economy. Moreover, the smoker not only spends his money on buying tobacco, he also spends much more money on the consequences of smoking such as medical care. Cigarettes are the leading cause of several fire deaths and injuries in many countries, which causes $552 million of indirect property damage annually.
