Currently in France, the Estates General has not met for over 150 years. The King of France has asked all his people to make proposals for its organization. This led to an outburst discussion towards all the people of France. I believe that without the people, the country will fall even more. Without the consent of the people, why would you even try to govern a place that you don't allow your people to have freedom of speech? This is an illogical way to treat your own people. Also, the government is trying to give more rights to the nobility by allowing freedom of speech and etc. They have to give up some rights to like their tax privileges. Thus, the Third Estate is still stuck with having to pay taxes and having to live an awful life. This is still not fair. Over time the nobles are going to have the freedom they want and the Third Estate will stay the same. In order to save the country, they must help out the Third Estate. I am willing to stick out for the Third Estate. I will give up anything in order to help our people out. tone is humorous. Part one talk about the embarrassments and wonders of childhood. It then changes to a spiritual mood and the tone gets more thoughtful meaning that Pi gets older and he learns multiple ways on how to know God. Part Two continues with the spiritual mood, but as he gets older, Pi's life situations become more life threating to him. The mood and tone change to hopelessness. This matters to Pi because Pi practices three different religions meaning that he gets a closer relationship with God.
