Culture Diversity

Cultural diversity is important in colleges to help build strong leaders to go out into the workforce and community. By having the multicultural programs, the students can learn about cultures they are not familiar with and therefore be more respectful to the differences. The awareness of cultural differences will be very valuable to students in all aspects of their lives. Learning to have respect for all cultures is important. Experiences and opportunities provided by Bethany Lutheran College expose students to many different races, ethnicities, and cultures. The availability of these programs will be a great help to other students of different cultures. Students feel like Bethany is a good college with a home like atmosphere where help is readily available, strong values are encouraged and individuals are respected as the children of God. By attending a college with a diverse student body students can be prepared for our socially diverse culture and can learn how to provide a multicultural social equality in their professions. The availability of multicultural programs and financial benefits assist students like myself. I have an opportunity to follow my lifelong dream to attend college and pursue my goals to be successful adult with a professional career.
