My favorite location to visit is Detroit Michigan, due to the extensive cultural

dynamics that are displayed within the city. Also the history that is hailed by Detroit

makes it an interesting place to visit. With all the history you have a huge amount of

locations to see and have things to do such as try different authentic foods, go to one of

the most renouned automobile industry factories, have the privilaege to see a popular land

mark for recording artist in the musuc industry and see several different sport arenas.

With the cultural dynamics in the city of Detroit it can range from African, Arabic,

Greek, Mexican, Black and White within blocks of each other. You have areas named

after the different cultures that live within that area such as Greek town and Mexican

town. These areas have various markets and restaurants that sell and serve food and

merchandise from that particular culture. When someone says that people need to be

more culturally diverse they should take a trip to Detroit to see how well these

communities thrive in coexistence with one another .

The history of Detroit spans approximately 313 years with some of the biggest reason

being the automobile industry, Hitsville U.S.A. (Motown) and the sports franchises

The Detroit Lions (NFL), Tigers (MLB), Pistons (NBA), Red Wings (NHL) and the

latest addition being the Detroit Sparks of the WNBA. For the automobile industry

Detroit is the home of two of the world's most prolific automobile makers GM

(General Motors) and the Ford Motor Company. Every auto enthusiast knows about

General Motors and Ford Motor Company being the biggest automobile makers in

America. From the time of the Model T cars through the hotrod era to today's industry of

exotic body designs to which company has the best chance of winning the Daytona 500

race and which company produces the strongest engine for their cars and trucks.
