* 10: All the elements are included and writer does a thorough job.
* 9: Most of the elements are included, but a very minor omission occurred which does not confuse the reader.
* 8: Student puts forth effort to include most of the elements.
* 7: Student includes elements on a basic level but does not go beyond what is required to make the comic book entertaining or encourage the reader to read further.
* 6: Some elements might be included but they are not clear to the reader.
* 5: Some elements are missing.
* 4: More than half of the elements are missing or are not clear to the reader.
2. Does the comic book include correct spelling, punctuation?
* 10: There are no errors or errors that distract the reader.
* 9: One minor error.
* 8: There are only 2-3 errors.
