Information Security on a Network

A network this big will require a lot of security features and extra security for future long lasting up to date security, customer information will be handled so strong security is a must, we are aware of today's risk on network attacks and information robberies, giving the fact that we manage financial information this makes us a target for cyber criminals so we will take security of the network very seriously and will go beyond standards to guarantee our customer's safety; here are some of the security features that we will like to add to the company's network

* A strong firewall and a proxy to eliminate the risk of having unwanted people in the network.

* A Large Enterprise version of an Antivirus Software with Internet security features to eliminate outside the network risk.

* Strong case-sensitive passwords that will enhance the security of applications and company's software, these passwords will need to be updated on a bi-monthly basis at least.

* Wireless network will use robust passwords everywhere, we want to be sure no one messes with the network.

* We will need to use physical security as well with the se of security guards in order to detect any electronic devices that could be hidden on people's clothes that could be use to steal electronic information.

* Use network analyzers to detect any unusual activity on the network.

* Security cameras all over the premises to ensure we cover any unusual activity on the work field.

* Secure fencing for the company's premises to establish company's grounds.

* Security measures on server rooms, a system that will shut sown servers when needed, fire prevention system and security controlled entrance to this rooms.

These are some measures that will help the company secure customer and employee's information to provide a safe and secure business environment.

Other Requirements:

In order to implement these features, we will sure need a solid and big budget on which we can depend on, willingness from the company's owners to do all this, nothing can be done if people is not willing to, a complete cost summary will be provided on the final report.

We will sure have some limitations for this project specially because of the nature of the company, they are a financial company, people rely on them on a daily basis, we wont have much time to complete the project, we cannot shut down the whole actual system because that will be a problem for the company, also workspace, we might need to ask some employee's during the project in order to
