Compare and Contrast
No matter what race/ethnicity a person is, there will always be a difference and similarity to a person's race/ethnicity. I have chosen to write my paper on comparing and contrasting "What it's like to be a Black Girl" and "Child of the America's". The two poems are similar in a way that both the characters are addressing the audience about how they look at their self as the race that they are. The two poems are different in the way that the two characters are different races and live in a different ethnicity then each other. The writers of these two poems express how a Black girl and a Latino see themselves in the world as being the race they are.
A race is a group of collected individuals who share purely passed on qualities that stand definite as per generally important (Macionis, 2010). Mutual unique appearances consist of skin color, hair texture, shape of facial features, and body type. In excess of thousands of age groups, the physical surroundings that individuals survived in produced physical changeability. In addition, immigration and intermarriage spread heritable physical characteristics all over the world. Ethnicity is a traditional culture common by way of a grouping of individuals. Ethnicity is cultural and race is genetic, however the two every so often go hand in hand. Furthermore, ethnicity is on occasion absent and individuals basically lose trace by way of their cultural ancestries.
