Christianity in China: How did Christianity develop in China and what is its current status?

Development of Christianity in China: There is no proof when and where Christianity developed in china, but there are different stories based on history and archeological. At first in 635 AD Christianity was formally welcomed by Tang Dynasty in China. There was a considerable familiarity before that as well. The tang and some of the religious department of the rules has the opportunity to look at the Christianity in depth. It is also implying that in 6th centaury, Christianity came in china, but no one knows when. But it is assumed universally that it started from the trading shores. At that time, it was syriac Christianity and the growth was taking between the meditatarian and western china. Then they further move to Turkey, Syria, from east to Persia, and from east to meditatarian as well. Some archeologist says it started from east coast of meditatarian and spread to the central Asia. The documents in 157 refers the Christianity in the west border of the Afghanistan.

There was also a debate on the nature of the Christ. Christianity believed and believed that he was human and divine.

            Another part of this part is archeological suggest the strong sense of identity from the north and eastern china to the west side of china over the 100 years.

Current status of Christianity in China: According to demographics, there are 68 MN to 75 MN Christians in china. It has been changed dramatically in last 100 years. There is increasing strong attempt to control religion. At present, there are two branches and three self-churches which are recognized by government. These are Branch of state administration of village, house churches and official state of church. Chinese government has department as well and church functions under government supervision and closed monitoring. There was also a debate on house between the capitalist and the Catholics who should monitor the churches. In China, Shanghai and Beijing has the strongest and largest population. Also, China is one of the largest producer of the Bible in the world. There is also a saying that china will have largest population of Christians by 2050.
