Not long before the collapse in the mining within Chile had an earthquake, nor were expected another major disaster. There were multiples safety, recuses and organizations programs continually working together to recuse the 30 workers from underground. There were needs which are important to be meant to work together as team for the trapped workers and families who were devastated who were worried with fear of losing their family member. The rescue team needed a leader with expertise and knowledge with procedures to set up surrounding areas with security, rescued teams engineers, and drillers and a House of God for those who needed comfort. There were mixed of crew as experienced miner and technical support personnel, who had less experience working underground. The mine was old and the driller's steps were to take precaution so they came up with several plans as went along to rescue the workers. The considerations and supports from the people and their reaction were praises of high hope with the rescues along with congratulations to Chile's people in regards to successful operations while these tiredly efforts were continuously working with the rescue plans. The minors survived for a record 69 days deep underground before their rescue. The mine had a recorded of geological instability and records of numinous safety violations from the mine's owners. With the safety fines which had resulted in a series of fines and accidents, including eight deaths.
As the miners being famously rescued in their worst of times were given a rescue diet threaded through a borehole and they had to find water and staying active. A tube was created and planted within at least 700 meters longitude by way of sending food supplies, especially hydration gels and medicines to the miners. The miners had hoped to share their stories and filing a suit against the company. A year later the miners who were trapped ended up being unemployed and worst off than before the incident. The families of the miner's potential needs were to be reassured their love ones would be safe. The families wanted to be sure they were well taken care of while waiting for the trapped miners to be rescued. There was a Camp Hope set up in the desert. Some lived in their cars while they waited and prayed for a sign for the men to be rescued. The Chile Government ministers held standard briefings for the families and journalists within the camp. Many of the Chile families were strong Catholics and prayed constantly for the trapped men to be safe and rescued. Small shrines were erected at the foot of each flag and amongst the tents as they placed pictures of the miners, religious icons and statues of the Virgin Mary and patron saints. The media played a role to help the miners from a trapped under ground collapse on them then later after all the praises for miners and politicians played out were the President of Chile projected a better safety plans if any future mining
