Child Obesity

The topic I have decided to write this research paper on is Child Obesity. I decided to write about this topic because when I was younger I was over weight. I now have children and do not want them to have the same issues. This topic means a lot to me and I feel that it will be easier for me to write this paper.

I plan on refining my topic to either what age Child Obesity starts at or what causes Child Obesity. There is a lot of information about Child Obesity, so I am looking into government research. The hard part about this topic is there are so many different opinions. I have found websites that have different ages as when to start looking for Child Obesity. While I am gathering the information at what age Child Obesity starts I am also collecting information on what is the cause because if I do not gather enough information to write a eight to ten page paper I have something to fall back on instead of redoing the whole thing.

I do not have an argument for this topic. I do not even know how I could have an argument. If you go off of facts how can there be an argument? Do I have my own opinion about Child Obesity yes, but I have not done studies to be able to prove my opinion. I feel like it would be hard to have an argument, unless I do not understand the question.

In conclusion, I am actually excited to learn more about Child Obesity. I want to prevent my children from having any difficulties in life with obesity. I also plan on passing down the knowledge to them so they can be aware of the problem. Doing this research actually might have myself change some habits I have in life.
