The Center for Disease Control and Prevention does have a social responsibility not only to the United States but as well as the world and in tracking and preventing death and illness. This website provides information on how to stay alive by preparing an emergency kit, where to go during the emergency to live through it, and what to do after an emergency. In the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's latest news covering how to survive a Zombie Apocalypse or any emergency that may arise throughout the world. It is very simple and easy to put to any social emergency. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has put it into steps to prepare for any and about all emergencies. Step one, prepare an emergency kit (Water (1 gallon per person per day), Food (stock up on non-perishable items that you eat regularly), Medications (this includes prescription and non-prescription meds), Tools and Supplies (utility knife, duct tape, battery powered radio, etc.), Sanitation and Hygiene (household bleach, soap, towels, etc.), Clothing and Bedding (a change of clothes for each family member and blankets), Important documents (copies of your driver's license, passport, and birth certificate to name a few), First Aid supplies; band aids, sterile gauzes, antibacterial, quick-clot and many others (although you're a goner if a zombie bites you, you can use these supplies to treat basic cuts and lacerations that you might get during a tornado or hurricane). Step two, have a plan; understand what kind of emergencies are in the surrounding area. Contacting the local Red Cross will give the information needed. Sit down with loved ones and go over a meeting place, emergency contacts and where they are located and an evacuation route. Step three, practice, practice, practice.
