Sanjay’s case is about his school mate touching his turban. He is deeply upset and he goes to report the boy the head teacher.
I think the reason why he is upset with the boy is because maybe he thinks the boy is trying to make fun of him and embarrass him. I also think maybe his religion doesn’t allow people to go touching the turban because they think it’s a sign of disrespect.
I think when Sanjay case goes to the head of school because he is inconsolable the head of the school tries to comfort him making him feel that the boy didn’t mean to upset him, he had no idea that it was the wrong thing to touch the turban and he makes him come down .
He also tells the other boy to ask before he touches anything, he questions him if he knows anything about Sikh religion, and also asks him to apologise to make sanjay see that he didn’t do it intentionally.
SHAMMA case is about her going to an interview wearing a burkha and she is denied the job vacancy because they think that the children won’t be happy and comfortable around her because the only part you can see is her eyes. I think for the jobs sake she should at least uncover her face when talking to kids. She wasn’t happy with that unfair decisions taken so she decided to take sue the manager.
SHAMINA.case is about bullying at school and also cyber bullying of because of her stammering when she is nervous. Her year mates bully group makes her hate and miss school because of making her intimidated and stammer a lot when they speak to her. They follow her everywhere bullying her even if she misses school they keep sending her texts.
SHAUN study case is about applying for a job to be the head porter’s job but he is denied the chance because he has a down’s syndrome but he is more than capable of doing that job. The interviewer didn’t give him the job because he probably didn’t like him or he was moody. Shaun’s friend is rude to him instead of supporting him he says bad words that badly affects him and he is really offended.
