Brief Description of the Course
‘Business Math’ is a course designed to study and apply mathematical concepts, principles and techniques that are useful for problem solving in business management. The course focuses on the practical, real-life problem solving and applications of mathematical techniques in business. Business mathematics is an important tool for solving the business problems in the area of finance, accounting, economics, production and general management, and sales and marketing. The objectives of this course are to teach the various tools and techniques so that the students will be able to solve the various real-life business problems.
The course will employ in-class lecturing, practical problem solving and class exercises.
