The Country of Football
Who won the World Cup in 2002? Who has one of the prettiest cities in the world? In which country does football run in every citizen's blood? Brazil is a beautiful place known for its important and famous landmarks and its long history of soccer. So pack your bags and come with me and lets explore the country of football...
First of all when most people think of traveling to Brazil, this is the city they picture; a gorgeous harbor, scenic mountains, vibrant carnival and famous beaches. Brazil has a beautiful city called Rio de Janeiro located southeast of Brazil which is beautiful. A really famous statue is also there which is called Cristo Redentor where many people visit. Another thing that makes this city beautiful is its cities beaches and shores and their warm temperatures.
Another reason is Brazil's passion for football that runs deep in their culture and many will agree that this country produces some of the best players and the best team in the world. This sport is a national source of pride and joy, which helps Brazil to make a name in the world. And if your a fan of soccer, Brazil is your number one stop. Also you can strengthen your knowledge of soccer and maybe if your lucky enough you might be able to see the players!
Finally Brazil has a unique culture that I would want to learn about. Brazilian culture is known for its love for music, parties, dance, food, festivals, sports and, last but certainly not least, the beach. It is not possible to overstate how much Brazilian people love the beach. When the sun comes out, Brazilians go there to enjoy nature, exercise, play sports, or just hang out. One really famous Brazilian holiday is Carnaval. The Brazil Carnival has often been described as “The World’s Biggest Party.” The Carnaval in Brazil is the most important event of the year. It happens every year, typically 7 weeks before Easter and it’s usually in February, but sometimes in March. On this day it is like a week long non-stop party where there are street festivities, music, dancing and people dressed in costumes.
So overall Brazil is a beautiful place that I encourage everyone who's a fan of soccer and beaches to go there. I really hope you learned something today and maybe one day you'll visit this beautiful country, and when you go there don't forget to get all the colorful clothes you have for all the carnivals, the Brazilian flag to cheer on, your cheerful spirit and send me a postcard, and if you like soccer like me then don't miss out on the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
