Jeff and Carol
In midnight someone called Carol and the voice in the other end of the phone told Carol that Jeff was in the emergency room. she got up right away and took her childrens with the neighbor, who took care of them. When she arrive to the hospital she ask the doctors what was the status of Jeff but even the doctor did not know how to answer. And the only thing that came to her mind was if Jeff was going to survive. After the accident Jeff friends got killed and Jeff had a contusion that was going to change his life for ever, in the report accident say that Jeff was drunk in the time of the accident.
When the doctor saw that Jeff did not had many opportunities of making it alife, He made Carol take the decition between letting Jeff die or keep trying until Jeff could recover. In the fist three weeks Carol understood that that she had fallen into the same routine. From work to the Hospital then to her childrens and finally to work. Now only does she have two small children to care for, but now she have a husband who may need feeding, constant supervion and maybe for the rest of his life. Even thought he was in reabilitation, he could not remember his childrens or even his wife Carol. It was a miracle that Jeff survive in that accident.
Jeff father die in a accident ralated with drinking, Jeff knew that drinking and driving was not save but he choose to do it anyway. after Jeff comes out from rehabilitation center one moth in acute care, he is a 4 on Rancho Scale. Carol wanted to know if he was going to be able to work again, but the doctor did not even knew if Jeff was going to be able to dress itself again. Jeff only had 3 more weeks for rehabilitation and the hope when down to the botton. In two weeks Jeff was going to be kick out from the hospital and he was not even able to take care of his basic needs.
Carol had sacrified herself working extra hours and getting other jobs to support her family, But it was not enought. The bills of the hospital, were so expensive that her two jobs were not able to cover the great amount of money, and she had no money even for food for her children.
