1. To me, Nat is a type of person who would not quit and give up and knows what he should do what's right for his family. Mrs.Triggs thought he was joking around about the whole "bird" situation, but it turns out to be that he was right all along and she soon believes him from listenting to reports heard from the wireless. He did whatever he can to protect his home from the wild raging birds; he boarded the windows and doors with planks of wood. Towards the end, Nat finds finds barbed wire and decides to use that to arm his house assuming that will protect his family and from preventing the birds from breaking and entering, and it does. He warned people of his village about the situation and what they may need throughout the whole time. Even though a few or more birds have broke into his house through the windows, his bravery did not die. Although the birds did.1.
