Best Teacher

6th period- Mr. Notestine

My favorite teacher would be, my 8th grade science teacher, Mr. Kelly. Being new to our school Mr. Kelly was the science teacher since our old one had moved to North Carolina. All of the kids thinking he wouldn't be able to the old teacher's standards. That had all changed during the first week of school.

When I walked in to science class the first day of school and being the cool guy I had to crack jokes about the new teacher bout how we were going to give him a hard time. As my classmates and I walked in and sat down hoping the new teacher would be there. 5 minutes later of painterly waiting he arrives. Like any other teacher he appears to be mean. So as we got to know him more and more, vice versa. Turns out that he would be a little kid at heart with small amount meanness in him. He played video games, ate candy, drank soda and could take and tell a joke just like a kid.

During that last week of school, I really had wished he had been there a year before or I would've only been a 7th grader. We still keep in contact to this day. Even though we hadn't always been on the same page and he didn't pick me for student of the year. Even though I kept his face with a smile and made the grades. I will always claim Mr. Kelly as my favorite teacher of all time.
