Berlin Wall Falls

The beginning Berlin Wall was established on the night of August 13, 1961, designed to split up East Berlin and West Berlin. The reason being is because West Berlin didn't want any people from East Berlin to come into West Berlin. West Berlin became a better place to live in after 1948 because they got financial help from USA, which lead to many East Berliners crossing on to West Berlin. The amount of East Berliners crossing over to West Berlin was getting way out of hand so West Berlin started to create a wall to physically separate themselves with East Berlin. The Fall of the Berlin Wall drastically affected East and West Berlin in a political and social matter.
The Berlin Wall arose in Germany because West Berlin didn't want citizens from East Berlin to come into West Berlin. The economy in East Berlin was not all that great. West Berlin was getting frustrated with so many East Berliners coming into their part of Berlin. West Berlin was discriminating towards East Berlin, hoping that the tall, physical barrier would not come down. This anger was affected by almost the whole world. Even the United States was affected because of their economic help towards West Berlin.
After the Berlin Wall fell, the city of Berlin was once again reunited. Families that have been separated for years have been reunited once again. The community was reunited and the jobs of many people were reestablished. The government was no longer stressing over the riot of Berlin. The countries involved in helping West Berlin, were affected in their economy because of all the money they put into the Berlin Wall. The Fall of the Berlin Wall changed East and West Berlin socially because families were being reunited after years and years. The countries that were involved with the Berlin Wall were affected as well.
