Benifits of Physical Activity

As students have hard time through college life, they usually think how they can make it through college. Physical activities are important in students' lives and give large advantages, when dealing with school or college. Many college students are unconscious or have bit of knowledge about physical activities. It is confirmed that it has a great association with academic achievements. One of the main benefits for students to participate in physical activities is that their physical condition is enhanced. Another main benefit of participating in physical activities is that it leads students to obtain higher great point averages (GPA), in school. Getting physically involved in activities is a great source to rely on when dealing with stress and depression during school life.
First of all, students getting involved in physical activities will have a better health than if they didn't get involved in physical activities. Students, who get involved in any sort of cardiovascular activities according to the needed conditions of time per week, are unaffected to number of health issues. "Heart disease and stroke are two of the leading causes of death in the United States. But following the Guidelines and getting at least 150 minutes a week (2 hours and 30 minutes) of moderate-intensity aerobic activity can put you at a lower risk for these diseases and help to manage stress"(American Accreditation HealthCare Commission). This quote explains that physical activities do, in fact, help prevent health problems or at least reduce them. In addition, students are rewarded with health benefits. Students who contribute a portion of their time during the week are less likely to face psychological issues.
Regular physical activity can facilitate your thinking, learning, and judgment skills as you get older. It can also decrease your risk of depression and may help you sleep better. Research has shown that doing aerobic or a mix of aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities 3 to 5 times a week for 30 to 60 minutes can give you these mental health benefits. Some scientific evidence has also shown that even lower levels of physical activity can be beneficial (Gov. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
According to this quote, students' health problems may be reduced or eliminated depending on the amount of time they use doing physical activities. Essentially, there are quite a few benefits from doing cardiovascular activities. The students who get involved in physical activities will get profit from their benefits.
Secondly, physical activities lead to a better health in students; however, they also play a positive role in the students' GPA. Students who are enrolled in physical activities will receive a greater GPA than if they don't.
