There were so many great Pharaoh's that ruled in Egypt; and one of them was named Snefru. Snefru is credited as being the first Pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty of Egypt. His birth name was snofru. His name has been translated many times but, the most common interpretation is "to make beautiful". Records show that Snefru reign over Egypt was at least twenty four years; and evidence such as graffiti on the pyramids he constructed at Dasher may suggest a longer reign then just twenty-four years.
Snefru was the son of Huni. Huni's wife was Meresankj; a woman who was not of full Egyptian blood. She also was the mother Egyptian gods Khufu, and Giza. In Egypt it is believed that Huni had more than three wives and kids. The eldest son was Nefermaef who became a vizer. Nefermaef did not outlive his farther. He didn't get to inherit the throne. While, his other son Khufu; was excellent at building pyramids. On the other hand, Snefru was also credited with the building of most of the pyramids built during the 4th Dynasty. He developed the step pyramids which were later built into a true pyramid, but his effort was a disaster but not a quick one.
The Red and bent pyramids were very much similar to others Pyramids of Egypt and also covered plenty of landscape. The Landscape is as far as South Elephantine Island. Snefru planned to have his pyramids scattered throughout the Egyptian land during the time period of the 6th Dynasty. Later Snefru had two sons who became viziers. Snefru was a well remembered and respected pharaoh. His reign was not only good but it expanded through his bloodline.
