My name is Isabella DeAngio and this is my story.

Monday August 27th

Senior year starts in two days. I am torn between the need to finish high school and being scared to move on with my life. I've just finished packing all of my stuff. I'm so glad I don't have to do this on my own. If not for Max I wouldn't be able to do this. I still can't believe they are shipping me off to boarding school...

As Bella pondered what to write next about her best friend, she could hear her parents downstairs. They were at it again. Apparently there were mixed feelings about her leaving. She knew that her younger brother Ty was the most affected by the change. As though on cue, her adorable brother appeared in the doorway.

Then she made sure to put a definite end to the conversation by turning her full attention

back to her journal. What she did not notice was the sad look on her mothers face.

...I guess a part of me understands what she is trying to do. After everything that's happened in the past month, maybe it will be nice to start again fresh. Hopefully no one will know about the accident here. I know it wasn't my fault. They all told me I couldn't have done anything to save him. I still wonder why I am here and not him though. It is so hard to miss someone as much as I miss him. I will remember that day for the rest of my life...

His name was Adrian. He was the most wonderful boyfriend I could have ever dreamed of. It all happened on our 9 month anniversary. I knew I should not have told him while I was
