Abstract
In order to be successful in life, I have to believe in myself, possess a positive attitude,
and have goals. These three characteristics, on any given day, will get me further than
someone who lacks them. Believing is everything. Your attitude determines your
altitude. If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things (Albert Einstein).
Attitude/Beliefs
Believing is everything. When I study hard, focus on my career choice, and believe in
myself, I find things to be much easier for me. I am calmer and I don't feel stressed or
beat up about things. I surround myself with people who push me closer to my dream
other than trying to break me from it. It's one thing when I believe in myself, but it's
another when your family and friends believe in you as well. Nothing is more satisfying
than that.
Your attitude determines your altitude. Going through life with a negative mindset only
keeps you at the bottom. When I put on my best attitude, smile, and accept criticism, it
makes me more acceptable to the outside world. Being able to let others see that I have a
positive attitude gets me closer to the top. That's where I want to be in my future. When
I think positive, my rewards are positive.
Without goals, I ask myself "where would you be?" The biggest goal I am working so
hard to accomplish is becoming an asset in the medical billing & coding field. I have it
in my mind to go for just that and not stop until I have reached it. Albert Einstein once
said , "If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things." I can't
determine my next move in life on what others are doing for themselves or want me to
do. To have a fancy car, big house, expensive jewelry and more is all nice, but to have an
education and a career is better. With all of that but no education or career, what happens
when it's all gone?
