Asturias

Asturias is a band which was put together by Max and Symonds, Alex’s great talent as a guitarist is what led Max and Symonds to putting this band together. After playing a few gigs The band had achieved a substantial amount of fame and fortune, though the band was successful but without the proper parental control or support, most of these teenagers simply couldn’t handle the fame and fortune due to family issues, and the attitude and decisions of certain individuals. This resulted in their lives being affected in a negative way in the novel Asturias. Two members which have been negatively affected by fame and fortune are Marco and tim.

The first character affected due to fame and fortune is Marco. Although he has the capacity to properly receive the fame and fortune earned by the band, he can’t maintain his “Fame and celebrity is difficult to sustain when family issues impact an individual’s life. His mother is currently suffering from cancer which is rapidly spreading she is on heavy medication and she probably will not make it through. Doctors predict she may pass away, And Symonds doesn’t find Marco as a necessity in this band and wouldn’t hesitate the slightest bit to throw him off “He can't risk doing anything until the mother dies. And neither can we, After that, i’d suggest you look for a new drummer. It’s the cheapest option all round.” Symonds feels that rumours of personal problems can’t be involved in a band especially when they soon have overseas deals coming in. Marco also may lose his fortune because when his mum pases away Marcos father is trying to gain custody of his son so he could cash in all his success and fortune. Marco’s downfal
