The best person that knows you is yourself

Throughout my life people often assumed that I won't be able to pass my exams because i never seemed to pay attention in class or wouldn't socialized myself with other classmates. Some people thought I wasn't able to handle the assignments that were given to me because I would often go in a daze whenever the professor would explain the assignment. However, I am a student that takes my assignments serious and puts the effect that is required even though I had a job after school played sports and did community service.

People said I won't be able to pass my exams because I often had my head down on the desk and didn't look motivated to be in the classroom whenever my professor was teaching. The thought that I wasn't paying attention was considered because I would text on my phone during class. I would have moments where I would just go in a daze and start staring out the window. I would often rest my head on the desk because I was lacking sleep throughout the night. I would always have my phone out in class to write down the important notes my professor would say instead of writing on pen and paper which can be lost. I did most of my studying at home so I always knew what the chapter was about for class the next day. I sometimes would have to put aside my school work to make sure that my sister had dinner and help her with homework since that was part of my responsibility.

"I did what I had to do to get by, and I did it with half a mind"; quoted by Mike Rose from the short passage "I Just Wanna Be Average" which means even though he wasn't the type of student to pay attention in class he made sure that his work was
