Life is a precious gift that is given from God above. Life should be cherished, you only have one and when it's gone, it's gone. But with terminally ill individuals; it is hard to image the pain they are in. And some would rather be dead; than to be here on earth in that kind of pain. An increasing number of individuals are going to physicians for assisted suicide deaths. Euthanasia means to have a good death. It is also referred to as death with intent. Physician assisted suicide is where a doctor gives an lethal injection or other medicines that causes death. As stated in "Don't Cross This Threshold" the value of an individual is measured by his or her usefulness to the group in the striking primitive and vulgar form of utilitarianism. (Neuhaus, 1994) Is assisted suicide right or wrong? Some believe that this practice violates medical ethics. Others think that it's God's place to decide the time and place of a person's death. Is it considered killing even with the patient's consent? We will try and provide the emotivism ethics on this issue and give you our views on this issue also. Assisted suicide should be a decision determined by the individual and not the law.
Assisted death is a moral issue. It has to be decided on the value of principle is it right or wrong? If we interfere with a life threating illness than we are interfering with God's plan. Some religions have voiced their opinion on this issue. The Baptist believes that assisted dying violated the sanctity of human life. The Jehovah's Witness also believe that assisted dying violates the sanctity of life and Christian conscience. Christians are mostly against euthanasia. They debate that life is given from God and that life is given by God, and that human beings are made in God's image. The most obstruction comes from conservative religious groups.

It violates medical ethics. According to the Hippocratic Oath it expressly forbids the giving of deadly medicine to anyone who asks. The American Medical Association has consistently condemned physician-assisted suicide as an unethical practice. Doctors are expected to heal and preserve life to the best of their knowledge. Some believe that doctors that withhold treatment is the same of physician assisted death. It ends in the same result death. Some believe that this is better than the patient just committing suicide. That it still has the same end result.
Where this practice is illegal in most places and in most countries; the only places where it's legal is in The United States is the states of Oregon, Montana, and Washington. The United States Supreme Court ruled that there is no constitutional guaranteed right to physician assisted unconstitutional right to die.
