a) Demonstration of the learning gained and ability to examine and critically evaluate financial services environment and marketing strategies
b) Demonstration of wider reading to support their knowledge and analysis

d) Ability to logical develop their argument and produce a coherent group evaluation of the study in question
You are required to form groups of three to four
Task
You are asked, as Marketing Officer in one of the following two types of FS organisations in China , to undertake a feasibility study of setting up in a new market outside China
1. Bank
2. Insurance company
The feasibility study must take into consideration
1. The environment in the host country and the regulatory framework (what are the critical factors in setting up in this new territory)
2. Choice of Entry market strategy
3. The implications of the Financial Services marketing mix strategy
4. Customer economics and segmentation considerations
5. Product provision, Pricing and distribution strategy
6. Strategy for Building and sustaining corporate reputation and brand in the new territory
