Asperger's syndrome is a form of autism and a lifelong disability. It is caused because there is a combination of factors, which are genetic and environmental account for changes in the brain development. Asperger's syndrome is a "hidden" disability, which means that nobody can tell if someone has the syndrome, or not. It mainly affects how a person makes sense of the world, processes information and relates to other people. Also, it is not yet known if it's caused by a mutation or if it is genetic. Moral, social, economic, political, environmental, ethical, and cultural effects can be seen in different ways, in people that carry the Asperger's syndrome as seen in the movie " My Name Is Khan".

People who have Asperger's syndrome have difficulties while interacting and communicating with society. Since they have autism, people might move away from them because they don't have a normal behavior. As well as they could go and talk to them, like in the case of Mandira's reaction towards Rizvan.
