1. Elaborate on the main reasons, be specific here, why Apple needs its own stores?
* High touch with Apple products in Apple stores
One of the reason that Apple needs its own retail stores is customer could do some test driving and communicate with Apple specialists in the Apple stores.
Apple store is the only place that customer can find everything apple like Mac, IPod, IPad or IPhone. All products in apple stores are displayed and ready for customer to get their hands on. Whatever customer looking for school, home, or business solutions they just coming to the Apple store and try the applications that make customers figure it out what they really need.
* Customer get great experiences in Apple stores
Apple stores are not only stores that customer can buy Apple products but also can experience the products. In Apple stores customer can listen to a store employee make a presentation in front of them and a specialists team to help customers to solve problems immediately. Customer can get lots of information about Apple products from apple specialists and the store elements could provoke consumer involvement. That's is an experience that customer can't have when they doing online shopping or shopping in other apple retailers like BestBuy and Wal-Mart to buy Apple products. Apple stores creating a fun, enjoyable shopping experience to customers and makes them want to come back again and again, so it is necessary to keep Apple stores.
* Increase brand awareness and brand publicity
Since the first Apple store opened in 2001, and just seven months later, 27 identical Apple stores opened across the United State and the sales increased dramatically at the end of 2011. Obviously, with the increasing of Apple stores, the brand Apple and its products have been familiar with customers. And for now, Apple stores were expending to new territories and mostly in high traffic shopping malls, it's a great approach to attract people come to visit the store and know more about Apple and Apple products.

The reason why I think the satisfaction of customers in Apple stores is the most important because the aim of Apple store is to enrich people's lives. Even though customer come to Apple store do not buy anything but they enjoy their experience and satisfied with the services in the store that is the key reason to make sure if customers will come back to visit Apple stores again.
