And so the Man stood there in the middle of a field looking with a sly grin at, an as yet undecernable location. Then a Child carrying a football entered the black ruined frame... that is my dream.
The Child stood around 3' 6" with a black and red striped shirt and a pair of small denim pants. The Child's pallid cream skin had an almost luminous glow in the sunny afternoon. The Child's hair was made of short golden brown locks of hair and under them was the Child's face, a face blurred and indistinguishable, but the Man could clearly see the Child's face, it was only "I" the observer who saw nothing.
The Child waddled toward the Man at first trying to make its way past the Man then the Child decided to try and tackle him. As soon as the Child got closer, the Child flung its arms and legs around one of the Mans legs, all the while laughing an almost angelic melody. The Man (in a very animated way) began to shake his leg, while he was doing so he tripped on the now loose football and fell with an audible thump. They both shared a good long laugh until all was quiet. Then the child climbed on top of the Man in an attempt to further subdue him. When the child reached the mans torso the man suddenly grabbed the Child and gave him a warm and loving embrace, the Child was surprised at first and then the Child smiled and said something inaudible and the Man smiled. He smiled a smile that showed that he had everything that he had ever wanted in life, his life was perfect... The Child now noticing that the Man was in a happy induced stupor, the Child shouted "DAAAAAD! Are we going to still play?" The Man looked at the Child again and grabbed the Child and then gave him another hug. The Child now frustrated was pushing at the Mans face, but to no avail.
Soon after some more wrestling the Child got up and abruptly asked the Man "When is Mommy going to get here?" The Man looked at his watch and frowned. "She'll be here any moment, she probably just ran into some traffic on the way back from the airport." the Man said with a big reassuring smile spread across his smug face. "Go long" the Man said when he took the football in his hands. When the Child was about ten yards away, the Child turned around and got into a catching position that resembled the position that someone takes when they take a crap. the Man noticed this and began to laugh a deep, loud, obnoxious laugh. The Child now blushing said "Hurry up dad!" The man smiled again, but just as he was about to throw the ball he noticed some movement near the edge of the clearing where trees shrouded the path.
Another Man entered the edge of the clearing, someone who the man recognized. The Man smiled at the new guest, but then the Man saw the somber, dark complexion that weighed down the guests figure. "I'll be right back im going to talk to _______
