1) There are a numerous factors in Amy’s life that could have caused her delinquent behavior. One factor being that she was raped by a repair man as well as by her father growing up

2) Sexual intercourse by an adult with a person below a statutorily designated age. The criminal offense of statutory rape is committed when an adult sexually penetrates a person who, under the law, is incapable of consenting to sex.

3) I believe that the big brother big sister school program could have helped Amy. Amy struggled with esteem in my opinion and maybe having relationships with an older girl could help her and gave her someone to confide in.

4) She was having a discussion with her hairstylist who was about being cheated on. The hairstylist talked about getting rid of the other woman which gave Amy the Idea of getting a gun so she could have Jo all to herself.

5) Jo’s story that he told to the authorities was suspicious but in the beginning that’s all they had to go by. When Mary regained consciousness she was able to tell the police the description of the girl who shot her and she identified Amy as the girl.

6) I personally don’t think she is ruthless but I also don’t think she is a victim herself. I think she struggled with relationships and esteem; she wanted something that wasn’t hers.

7) Mary was able to describe the girl who shot her and when shown a photo of Amy she was able to confirm that Amy was the one who shot her. Jo also told police the Amy might have been the girl who shot his wife so they arrested Amy.

8) A formal, composed charge issued by an excellent jury in a criminal case. Commonly, the jury is accused of figuring out if enough confirmation exists to accuse a suspect of a criminal offense.

9) The case was reopened on the bases of his affair with Amy. Amy was brought to court and placed before the jury. They brought up the hotel receipts, which he paid for.

10) I think the sentences given to them both were appropriate. Although Amy shot Mary with the hopes of killing her, Mary didn’t actually die.
