Social networking is a big thing now a day many people use Facebook, Twitter and Google etc. There are a lot of pros and cons to these sites such as addiction, popularity, dangers and identity theft.

I think that social networking sites should be aloud and that people should use them sensibly without any bother or people trying to get into each others accounts.

In the last couple of years, there has been an increase of social networking like Facebook, twitter, Myspace, Google, the list goes on. These networks help people stay connected in fun ways, as opposed to emails and simple phone calls. There are some things we can't ignore. Social networking sites just came out, but today there is more and more evidence that a lot of people are getting seriously addicted to social networking sites. The thing seen on the internet can effect how someone looks. 30 million people in our world are addicted to these sites

I think people should enter social networking sites at least 15 minutes in a day and should not be on them 24/7. People that are addicted to social networking sites will eventually need glasses.

You must be wondering how these sites earn when they provide everything for free. Advertising! These sites are great for advertisers as they can reach millions of people. These networking sites have come up with a targeted ad solution where the advertiser reaches people by going to the users profile and interests. This is what makes social networking sites a heaven for advertisers to.

Social networking sites should not be making as much money as they are because all they are doing is setting up a website and sitting back.

The newest mainstream of social network is Twitter. It's based on people following others and getting to read there tweets. This is one of the dangers to social networking sites because many people want as many followers as possible and they aren't shy about what they say in there tweets. This highlights the trouble with twitter and many other social networking sites. Many people's goals on these sites is to have as many friends as possible and they just don't think before they message or add friends. Unfortunately, this sets them up to be victimized by one scam or the next.

This shows that people cannot go onto a website without someone looking through there profile and paedophiles them.

Social networking has spread around the world with remarkable speed. In countries such as Britain, the United States, Russia, the Czech Republic and Spain, about half of all adults now use Facebook and similar websites. These sites are also popular in many lower-income nations, where, once people have access to the internet, they tend to use it for social networking. If twitter was a country
