Access to Healthcare is having the ability to receive medical treatment and services when needed either by the ability to pay or the availability of health care personnel and location of the facility. Quality is best described as continuous improvement in the health care delivery and how the patients are being treated. As the demand for health care continues to increase in America the changes of the healthcare system will dramatically impact the delivery of health care services that can also anticipate continued turbulence, reorganization, and rediscovery in the mechanisms through which health care services are provided to the nation's population. There will always be room for improvement especially now more than ever.

Above all it is the experience of patients and people that give a hospital its reputation. Patient outcomes are what drive a healthcare to operate and move forward. When patient results improve the quality of healthcare improves. A great way to improve the health care delivery is engaging in 3rd party accountable care organizations. Examples of Accountable Care Organizations include: Plane Tree, Davies Award, Safety Star, Malcolm Baldridge and more. The Quality Assurance Quality Improvement (QA/QI) team of health care facilities can also incorporate policies to help physicians, hospitals, and other caregivers improve the safety and quality of patient care and make health care more affordable. By focusing on the needs of patients and linking payments to outcomes, this type of delivery system reforms will help improve the health of individuals and communities and slow cost growth.
