ABSA Directory
ABSA, Marketing Team Project
Purpose
To create a directory of ABSA contacts, positions of past directors, team members, subcommittee members in a central location online. This is where ABSA directors, team members, subcommittees can access a point of contacts for projects, ideas, and networking.
The Concept
This idea came about because we do have contact information of ABSA alumni, however, when it comes down to looking for information, advice, or a sense of direction on ABSA projects or initiatives, the people responsible for it have to start from scratch and maintain their own contacts. Maintaining these contacts is only known by some individual and these contact information is not passed down.
For example, Launch committee members only have contact information from last year. However we have materials and data from 2006, but how was the conference conducted by whom, we do not know. The concept is to have this ready, easy to use database of keeping a historical data of who contributed to ABSA, what their accomplishments were, as well as another way to market ABSA's influence on success of individuals.
Also, alumni that do reach out to us from past years, we are able to access information about their contributions and success; therefore, the relationship will become stronger and more connected as a whole. ABSA alumni will become closer to ABSA all together.
Process and Implementation

Research
The marketing team as a whole will research the different branches as well as subcommittees such as Scoring Careers, Feed Your Mind & Launch, etc., projects, and who were the past participants that contributed to ABSA.
* First, split up branches in order to find all positions/information about past and current director, committees. We will also split up the work to find information about the different teams in ABSA.
* Second, we need to find out who held the positions for all directors, team members, and subcommittees. Including information of how many years in ABSA after they held the position, what year they were, what major, etc.)
* Third, we need to make sure these participants are willing to volunteer their email and contact information for any students to access for information, guidance, and advice.
Analysis
The next step is to take a step back and look at the demographics of the people who held the positions. This might help us understand more about the success rate of ABSA. There needs
