A Trip Down Memory Lane

The experiences of my past are undeniable. Of course my childhood consisted of love, laughter, joy and etc. That is the typical childhood for a young male growing up. It goes without saying that my childhood was more than just a fun period but it was also a learning experience. These are my most traumatic experiences and memories. This is an essay is not only on my childhood but also about the lessons I have learned throughout my childhood.

At the age of 5, life taught me my first lesson which was to obey my parents. My mother put a pizza in the oven for my brother and me and specifically told us not to mess with the oven because it was hot. As soon as she left out of living room and went back to her room, I saw that as an opportunity to go mess with the oven. Furthermore, I went to open the oven, stuck my head in it to check the pizza and burned all the skin off the bottom of my chin. At the age of 7 and 9 I encountered my second and third life experience. Unfortunately, I have permanent scars on my left and right eyebrows to remind me of those experiences. At the age of 7 and 9 I had to get stitches on both of my eyebrows because I was disobedient. My childhood was of course fun but it also served as a more important purpose which was to teach me life lessons.
