April 6, 2031: My 37th Birthday

It is April 6, 2031, which happens to be my birthday. I am now 37 years old living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have a Ph.D. and graduated medical school from Harvard University. Twenty years ago I was just a freshman at Methodist University majoring in Biology with a minor in Health Occupations. I remember being in Professor Billings and he told us to write a future autobiography on our life with predictions about the future. The first thing that came to mind was "How does he expect us to write a paper about our future with predictions we don't even have?"

This birthday is not like any other birthday normally my husband and two kids are in the kitchen making me breakfast but today I wake up and I don't smell anything cooking. I walk down the glass stairs and they are not here. My husband car is gone. I call him and ask him where did he go and he told me that he had a surprise for me and that I needed to be dressed in about 30 minutes. As soon as I hung the phone up I pressed the button to turn the shower on and it automatically had the water the right temperature for me. As soon as I stepped in the shower the soap was squirted on the towel and I started to take my shower. Once I step out the shower the water shuts off.

This is the one day that I get to be myself and not the Pediatrician everyone see me as. I am able to be Sheronica. I am wearing some nice dress slacks and a cream shirt with ruffles around the neck. I am also wearing my cream zebra print stilettos. I apply my makeup with 10 minutes and await my husband arrival. My husband arrives in his newly model Mercedes and blows the horn that signals for me to come out. I lock up the house and get ready to start my day.

My husband doesn't tell me where we are going he just drives. Within seconds we are pulling up to my favorite restaurant which happens to be the newly formed MiCasita's. The waiter and waitress are doing an outstanding job. With bringing our order right out, instead of them coming to the table taking your order there is a menu and a computer on the table and you place your order from there the only thing they do is bring the food and drinks to you.

My birthday was amazing now it's time for me to get prepared for work tomorrow. I am a wealthy Pediatrician who happens to have her own business. I am one of the top female Pediatricians. I turn on the television and look at the news and it is talking about the politicians and how it's still some people in office that's trying to make the economy have a downfall but we have the ones who are working hard to make sure our economy stays on top.

The bed's now have adjustable heat range/air range so once you're in the bed it adjusts to your body temperature. I can watch my kids play wherever they are through the kiddy camera.
