1. I would like to have the same job as Winston. It would be a good challenge for my brain. I would learn a lot too, since the stuff he deals with is actual documents of stuff. I would also learn how to rewrite things in a good way. Winston's job would be a big challenge, but it would fun to see what kind of stuff he deals with. Although he goes behind Big Brother's back by writing lots of contraband in his diary, he seems to be very good at his job. I would like to test out Winston's job to see what I could do with it.
2. I would miss my cell phone the most. That sounds like a typical high school answer, but my phone is how I connect with other people. I also use it for directions, looking at the weather and other things like that. If I did not have it, I would not have a way to get a hold of other people. I could go find them, but without my phone it would be very difficult to find out where someone or something is. I would spend a lot of time trying to figure out things that I could not do without my smartphone, emphasis on smart. If I was living in Winton's world it would not matter if I could not find something or someone. I would be stuck on my own for the rest of my life.
3. I probably could but it would be very difficult. Not being able to have the freedom of doing things with other people and even not having the freedom to think would drive me insane after a while. I would be a complete different person since I would not have other people around me. Also because Big Brother is always watching. Having a big telescreen on me 24/7 would be very odd. Living Winston's life would be possible, but very difficult to do.
