Introduction

Project Plan Summary

The objectives to raise $100 dollars through a donation box and also encourage 100 people to like ODAT`S Facebook page, were selected because the team thought it would encourage more people and also raise more funds. In addition, the team planned to raise awareness raising by photographing people and sending emails to them to like ODAT`s Facebook  and for raising funds the team raised $42 dollars through a chocolate box but the team planned to raise it through a donation box. All this was achieved by photographing people and sending pictures. In addition, the team sent emails to all people who participated to like ODAT`S Facebook page on Facebook.

Project Outcomes

Awareness Rising:

The team encouraged thirty people on the day of the event to like ODAT`s Facebook page on Facebook.

Fundraising:

The team raised $42 dollars through a chocolate box from donations the customers donated.

The team changed roles and also did not do most of the actions they said it would do. In addition, the team did not add more actions but more work was definitely required because other team did not have anything to do when more actions were required. This can be improved in the future if the team does not change roles that were given to team members but ask each team member to choose a role they feel comfortable with and cancel out actions that are not relevant. In addition, also give work to other team members who have to nothing to do and just relay on one or two people to do most of the work. The team did not use the time line that was given because most of the actions were not really needed or not relevant. The adjustments that were made during the monitoring process were posting messages on the Central website because the team thought it would encourage more people to come the event.

Financial Outcomes

The difference between the planned costs is that some of the products were ordered but not delivered. In addition, the team had to also change the products for example USB wrist bands were purchased but the company did not deliver the goods and also the costumes was not purchased instead the team decided to buy fabric material and create their own. In addition, the team planned to photograph customers and then save the pictures in the USBs but since the USB were not delivered the had to photograph customers and then send the pictures to them through emails that were collected from them. The team collected around $42 dollars from donations for the project when the expected profit was $100 dollars. The team could improve on some of the mistakes that were made if they decided the idea of purchasing USB wristbands online was a good or bad idea.

Market Outcomes

The team placed posters around Central and also other team members went to other classrooms to encourage students to come and participate in the event. In addition, the team could improve this by posting messages on the Central website and also wear ODAT t-shirts on the day of the event or before. The team could also encourage other team members to participate in the event and also decided on a better location.

Promotion Outcomes

The posters that were placed around Central did not have that much impact on the people that participated in the event because most of them were invited by to come and participate. In addition, the team members who went to encourage students in other classes to come and participate in the event was positive. The benefits the team expects from the people was positive because around 35 people wrote down their emails and also 35 people had their photographs taken which will sent back to them. In addition, the team will have to post messages on the Central website and also have other team members go around other classes to promote the event. The team did well on the timing of costs spent on printing posters and purchasing fabric because the team only spent $24 dollars from the expected $140 dollars the team was going to on new costumes. The team in future should post messages on the Central website and also send more team to go around classes raising awareness for the event. Furthermore should next have team members wear ODAT t-shirts and go around Central encouraging students about the event.
