i) We never know that the person who tries to attack you or rob you does they have a weapon on.

  • Some robbery case they will have their backup people around and you won’t notice about them

iii) People that try to attack or rob you is because they got mentally problem or economic

problem, makes them have no choice

  • All they want is just money for them; they do not even care about anyone else. They desperate for money and cause them have mentally problem. These kinds of person already lose their sense of humors.

How to handle the situation?

  1. If you are able to, run away from the situation making as much noise as you can doing so.         –the robbery will leave you alone as you have attracted far attention than they need
  2. If you can't run for some reason, give them your wallet and then move away quickly.              - more interested in your belongings than you; and the overwhelming majority will leave     you alone after this.
  3. If you don't have any valuables at all, tell them that. Do NOT LIE about this. They may search you and if they find valuables, they might hurt you for attempting to deceive them.
  4. If you are worried about losing your wallet, keep rm20-50 in loose bills folded in a shirt or an outside, pocket. When mugged, hand over that amount and leave the area quickly. This amount seems to satisfy most muggers and will prevent you from having to obtain new ID and credit cards.
  5. Regardless of what you do stay calm. This will keep your assailant calm and will likely ensure that this unpleasant situation will end peacefully.
