Mrs. Droid asks us "what's love"?

Love doesn't exist I say to myself, it's just a figment of your imagination, you want it to exist and you think it exists but in reality it doesn't.

"Katie did you say something" Mrs. Droid said in an insulting tone like I offended her or something. Apparently I need to learn how to talk quieter to myself I thought.

"No Mrs. Droid" I reply with a shameful look on my face trying to show her I didn't mean for what I said to hurt her feelings. The bell rings and saves my day! I sprint down the hallway to my locker and rush to my car, and so does everyone else. It's finally Friday which is why I am in such a hurry. I have to get ready for the football game then my friends and I are going to a party.

As I enter my house I yell hello. The silence echo's through the house except for the sound of my dog's paws walking across the hard wood floor. My parents are divorced I live with my mom and she works all day. She's a big time lawyer and when she does have free time she's usually with her annoying boyfriend Brian so she is rarely home. I usually have the house to myself 24/7. Which that may sound awesome but it's not always all fun in games. Yes it is awesome that I can have a party whenever I want and I usually do but It gets scary staying home alone all the time, my dog (who is a huge golden retriever) is getting old and can't always protect me and I am always scared that someone is going to break into our house. I mean I would if I was a robber everyone knows we are well off in money and it's pretty obvious by just looking at our three story house and 9 garages.

I scurry upstairs to my room and turn on the hot water to my shower. As I start to undress there is a knock on the door. I throw on my robe and run downstairs to the front door. I opened it and was shocked to see who was standing in my doorway.

"Hey" he says trying not to laugh at me standing in my hot pink silk robe.

"Hi" I say with a curious tone. His name was Collin. He was the sexiest senior everyone wanted him. He was tall, tan, perfect white teeth, has an awesome body, and his brown smooth Justin Bieber hair was always perfect. So I didn't get why Mr. Perfect was standing in my door way. Not that I am some ugly fat nerd or something. I think I am pretty popular if I do say so myself. I am 5'8, nice toned body, beautiful blue eyes, with long blonde hair. That's beside the point though. After us staring at each other for a few awkward seconds I finally ask him "what are you doing here?"

"Oh, um right" he said nervously." I got a flat tire down the road and my phone battery decided to die on me so could I use your home phone?"

"Yeah no problem" I respond as I let him in. I point him to the nearest home phone and phone book. We both sit down in my living room; I turn on the T.V. so it's not awkwardly silent. He talks on the phone for a good ten minutes before hanging up. I turn to him and asked "what the guy said?"

Collin looks at me with his sexy green eyes and responds "he said it will be up to an hour till they can get a tow truck over here."

"Oh, well you can stay here if you would like till the tow truck comes." I say with a fake smile on my face. Not that I don't want him to stay it's just I really need to get ready, "or you can stand outside and have a heat attack if you would like."

"Thanks I think I will stay here" Collin says in his sexy voice. I just realized everything he does is basically sexy now I see why the girls go crazy over him. Not that I like him or anything I think its stupid how people date in high school. Your just asking to get hurt because once college comes you're going to break up and if you think you're going to last forever then your psycho and should probably go into a crazy home. "Anytime," I say again with a fake smile.

"Well I should probably go put some clothes on, I will be right back." I toss him the remote and scurry up the stairs again. I throw on a pair of black shorts and a pink tank top, and then I slide on my fluffy pink slippers. I walk down the stairs slowly dreading how awkward it's about to be. "So want something to eat?" I yell from the kitchen.

"Yeah sure what do you got?" He announced.

"Anything you want" I say as we eye each other.

"Surprise me" he says with his deep voice, and then he winked at me! I turn to the freezer and pull out two mini containers of cookie dough ice cream. Then I grab two spoons and walk into the living room and sit next to him. We engage in some small talk and then he says "Zoey your house is really nice!"

"Thanks" I reply "would you like a tour" I say with a cheesy smile.

"Yeah I would like that" he says it with a cheesy smile to. It makes give a real smile then I get up and show him every room in my house from my loft above the garage to be amazing basement and I save the best for last, my room. As we enter it I shriek at the water everywhere. I forgot to shut my shower off and unplug the drain. Almost half of my floor was soaked we both run into my bathroom to shut off the water and we both end up slipping on the floor and falling on each other. I reach over for the nob to turn the water off and the water finally shuts off. I look at him in embarrassment we are both just sitting on my bathroom floor covered in water we look like we just jumped in a pool. All of a sudden Collin starts dyeing laughing I look at him and then I can't help but laugh. Collin mutters through his laugh "this is the best day ever"

As we both start to calm down and catch our breath I look at him and say "yeah but best day ever?" In a sarcastic voice.

"No I mean it hanging out with you is so much fun, now I am actually happy I got a flat tire." He smiles with a big smile, a real smile. This makes me smile

"Well thanks I guess it was fait" I say while I giggling." We both stumble trying to get up then he helps me dry my soaking wet floor. I give him a pair of dry cloths that all of my guy friends have accidentally left. After we change we meet each other downstairs. As he walks down the stairs with a big goofy looking smile on his face there's a
