Some of Mercutio's actions during the play include his concern for Romeo and for peace and for peace between the two families, the Capulet's and the Montague's. Mercutio was also the first to see that Romeo is deeply in love. In Act 1 scene 2 he says '' My invocation is fair and honest, in his mistress' name..'' this shows his concern for Romeo marrying Juliet and he expresses his feelings as he knows it will cause trouble between the two families.
