A Teenager's Life

Teenagers love to try and experience a lot of things. Even though they know that something bad might happen, they're still going to do it. They are so unpredictable and irresponsible that parents tend to be more strict with their teen-aged children. Maybe these are the reasons why my parents are strict. Having strict parents had bad effects before and has good effects for me now.

During the early years of my teenage life, I thought the idea of my parents being strict was unreasonable. They had done so many things that had a bad effect before. First, I wouldn't ask permission from them to go out with my friends. Even if I did, they wouldn't let me. I wouldn't want to let someone stop me from doing the things I like. I used to sleep around four in the morning not thinking about going to school the next day. Consequently, my school got worried. They notified my parents about what was happening to me. Then, my parents confronted me about what was wrong. So I told them the truth that I detest their attitude being strict. I wanted freedom in a way that they wouldn't control my life. They told me that I couldn't have it because of our family background. I felt so bad that all I could think of was they were "evil".

Months passed , I became mature as I stepped into college. As I looked back, it was so funny to think about the things that I did. It was too shallow of me to look at just one side
