1. There are several applications that are described here. Depending on the needs of the company, each business has developed an application to benefit them. Whether that be Dow Croning and the app that lets them "view and analyze real-time data from their core corporate system, including sales figures trends and projections" or THCO Chocolate that has an iphone app to control time and temperature off chocolate making machines. These apps are very critical to the businesses as they can expand their decision making to places outside of the office. Now they do not have to be at their work place to view information and discuss opportunities. This greatly increases the efficiency at which companies can produce and work.

2. Dow Croning has an app that lets them "view and analyze real-time data from their core corporate system, including sales figures trends and projections." The president stated that he can "get a sense of whether there's a financial issue within 15 seconds." That alone is extremely important to any business, especially to be able to access that type of information from a mobile device. THCO Chocolate has an iphone app to control time and temperature off chocolate making machines, as well as view video cameras that show the lab on directly to the iphone. GE gives their employees ipads to access email, contacts, documents, and electronic presentations. This gives their employees a instant sense of connection and the ability to share information within seconds.

3. All types of businesses can benefit from using these mobile digital devices, whether they be small local companies or world wide. Personally I think that the larger companies would benefit more simply they have much more information with much more money at stake and a larger work place to deliver all the information.

4. The company that deployed the statement saying that the Iphone is not a game changer is, its an industry changer is absolutely right in my opinion. It is not just going to enhance the way a business is run or be a benefit, it is going to completely revolutionize businesses and companies world-wide. It is an entirely new concept that the world has never seen before and has the ability to change the entire industry as states.

1. The iphone has numerous capabilities that could come in handy for any business. Schedule meetings, facetime chat with anyone in the world, track stocks, instant access to the internet and thousands options of apps from the app store. These could be used to make conference calls, trade or sell stocks at your hand, set up meetings with anyone and of course share information via email or text. After looking at the pages for Blackberry and Android, there were no features I found that were not on the Iphone. Yet the Iphone features
